It was busy when we arrived but we were able to get seats before our food arrived. The serving are big. Breakfast items are great. The homemade ramen noodle soup with egg and fish is also awesome especially on a cold, rainy morning!

Have just gotten a great breakfast here! Awesome food! I had egg Benedict with smoked salmon! It was testy! Exact match off all components! Potatoes great too! And they have a fresh raspberry jam not the cheap one what is usually on the table in American cafes. Truly recommend this place!

HIGHLY recommend this place! Food was delicious and the service was very friendly! They also have gluten-free bread available upon request. Would recommend ordering the Salmon BTL-A, very tasty!

I cannot recommend this place enough! I just beat the breakfast rush before 9AM on a weekday and was able to snag a seat inside. That is honestly the only downside as it's slightly stressful with table hawks... Otherwise this is the best value on the Spit. Smoked salmon benedict with greens and perfectly poached eggs, fruit and breakfast potatoes for 16. Oh and the coffee is complementary! There was also a daily special...open faced ham & egg breakfast sandwich which was superb. Almost hate for the secret to get out even more but they deserve the love! Go see them for breakfast or lunch, you won't be disappointed.

We got in at 8 am, ahead of the morning rush. Mostly locals there. We ordered the Baleine skillet, the veggie omelet with bacon, and the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. All came with a generous side of seasoned potatoes and all were very tasty. The others ordered guava nectar mimosas which were better than regular mimosas. This place has a complimentary coffee bar with iced water, hot and herbal teas, and drip coffee. They have a single unisex bathroom that is sparkling clean. The Baleine Cafe lived up to its rave reviews.

We stopped here for breakfast our last day on the Homer Spit. We both had their special, which was French toast, potatoes, eggs and bacon. The food was very good and reasonably price. They also provide complementary coffee with breakfast.
